Rango "Adjusted"

There was one teensy, weensy flaw in our plans to see Rango tonight:

March Break + Cute Animated Movie with Johnny Depp as Hip Gecko Cowboy = New Definition for March Movie Madness
We were a tad late arriving and by the time we got to the theatre, Rango was completely sold out.  Not to be thrown off the March Movie Madness course, we re-grouped and got tickets to the latest starting early show (is that an oxymoron?), which turned out to be The Adjustment Bureau which was on my list of movies to see.

It was a wonderful surprise to meet up with my friend Carolyn and her daughter who I hadn't seen in a long time.  We made good use of the hour-long wait for the movie to start, by gabbing.  My husband sweetly sat quietly, perhaps silently crying bitter tears of disappointment that we weren't seeing a western after all...

The Adjustment Bureau is a movie in a genre similar to Inception or The Matrix but with a romance that really worked thanks to the great chemistry of Matt Damon and Emily Blunt.  I predict that these 2 will team up again.  And the fedoras added a cool retro vibe.  Loved Anthony Mackie as Harry, the bureaucratic angel who believes in their love.

No spoiler alert here - go see this one if you and your significant other need a little reminder of what romance is alll about...
