Maslow v. Cathy: Battle of the Hierachies of Needs

Maslow's Hierarchy of Need
In the mid-1940s, an American psychologist named Abraham Maslow developed a humanistic approach to understanding what drives human behaviour.  He developed what is now known as "Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs".  Despite being largely discredited, this theory has remarkably stood the test of time - it is still taught to thousands of psychology students every year and has become a standard component of post-graduate business programs.  I have studied it more than once and have always considered it to be thought provoking but ultimately inadequate to define my own needs.

So with all due respect to Dr. Maslow, I have created my own "Cathy's Hierarchy of Needs".

See it in tomorrow's post...
