I have never read so many books at one time before and I am frankly amazed by the synthesis that is taking place. Most of the time I can actually even remember what I read in which book. Since I have gotten so much out of Jonathan Haidt's The Happiness Hypothesis, I sent him an email yesterday thanking him for his brilliant work. I was a little nervous about sending what was akin to fan mail, but to my delighted surprise, he emailed me back within minutes with very gracious words - turns out he practices what he preaches!
